Happenings
So I don't have so many days between posts, here's what's been happening the last few and the next few.
Friday was my 32 birthday. Not often you get your birthday on a Friday and not only that but the beautiful weather and everything else that accompanied it. I had a great day. We went that evening down to the Arts (food) festival and met the Deans there to eat. It seems that most go just for the food anyway.
Saturday was nice as well as we woke up, ate pancakes with Claire (her favorite) and then had a nice day. That evening we picked up 3 neices and nephews (why don't they have one word for them as a whole like niecephews or something?) and went to the Gonzalez's house for a class BBQ. It had to be nice with 2 of OKC's TV weathermen there.
Sunday our class hosted the New Members Luncheon at church and it turned out great. With all that still setup we again hosted Monday for the Master the next day and cooked burgers and hot dogs for 100+ people. We've got a lot of active members and that's encouraging.
Tomorrow my parents come down to meet their youngest at the airport. Angie's month long return should be a good boost for her. She's doing a lot of great work over there in England and I wish we could go see her but not for the news in my previous post!
Friday is OC's graduation and not for sure if we're going or not. If not we'll probably help our friends from church move into their new house.
This weekend we're hosting a dinner for 3 families (Amy's sisters and friend) and that should be a lot of fun, plus we plan on going to TLC to pic out some new trees and plants.
We seem to be hitting on all cylinders right now and it's busy, but at the same time it's not too bad as everything falls into place. I know it won't last so I'm just enjoying each day and the gorgeous weather God's been giving us lately.
