We Made It!
Writing from a net cafe in downtown San Marcos since the Romeros net is still down. Everything went smooth. There was even another Church of Christ group from Arkansas on the plane with us going to a different part of the country. In fact there were about 5 or so different church groups that filled the plane. We all got to bed around 1 or 2am Sat. Saturday morning we had our free day and headed to where they process the coffee and then to a farm similar to Romeros.
Then on to Crater Lake and then to Masaya for shopping and dinner.
We got back later and since it is Christmas Eve here, we had Romeros open one of their gift bags.
Sunday was Christmas but it wasn´t emphasized much. We had services and lunch with the group. Then we had the planning meeting with the builder and the girls had a planning meeting for VBS and gave them their other gift bag. Now we´re here and there is a crazy guy grunting real loud.
Tomorrow starts the real work and we are all eager to get busy.
If I don´t make it back tomorrow here, Happy 2nd Birthday Claire!
Can you pass a few "hellos" on to my dad (Lee Cummings) and Ellis. I'll let you decide whether to hug them or not. I was so excited to see them in the pictures you posted. I can guarantee that my dad was not one of the coffee tasters.
