Lots of Pics please (updated)
I blogged a while ago on a product called PhotoSynth which was really cool in the field of collaborative photo processing and this takes it a step further. It's not too hard to imagine that a lot of the modern world you'll be able to fly through visually and zoom in on in a few years, let alone how much improved (or funny/scary) Google Street view could be.
Add a 3d modeling component to it and you could create a virtual world wrapped around underlying wireframes and be able to remove any people or objects not wanted to be seen or add them. Possibilities abound for police work, entertainment, architects/developers and a more immersive virtual presence just to name a few, let alone homeowners contemplating improvements and linking them to product models from stores, etc. Course much of this can currently be done, but not without a lot of work. This would seem to be a step to bring the possibilities closer to the masses.

Are you saying that there is something to street view where you can take out people and things or thats the future.

More for commercial properties and landmarks and such. Street view currently only has the few pics from the road. What if they integrate all pics online that have been taken of that place or even inside. Suddenly you get a better pic of the place and can even "walk in" to the restaurant and look around or zoom into the window and look at the store times, etc. A true virtual world to explore the real one (limited by date the pics were taken of course)
