Nicaragua Day 4-6
Saturday we finished up our VBS up north in Matagalpa and then headed south to our first 3 years location, San Marcos (and the place where our helpers/local leaders had come from). We have built many strong friendships there and the church continues to thrive. Sunday was church services and then VBS. We had, I think numbers just shy of 300. Obviously with nearly 200 kids, VBS was pretty hectic. But we made it and the rain held off only to come as we were waving goodbye.
Monday was our play day and we got to go back to San Juan del Sur, a nice up and coming beach resort town that seems to be more Americanized each year. Boogie boarding all day. Our evening meal was in the dark as the electricity had gone out so it made for an interesting experience.

It was a great trip this year (as always). Really enjoyed getting to know those on the trip I didn't really know before and the bonds you make down there really left me renewed. Hopefully I can make it back again next year.
