Signs of the Times
We've been doing video chats for a few years with the parents (sporadically), but it does show the signs of the times. We had a small family birthday party for Angie with Darren's bunch and wanted to include Mom&Dad still in Kansas. The picture shows dad looking for the big blue button on Skype saying "turn on video". They couldn't find it, so after getting a little frustrated (I need to work on that) b/c I know it was right there in front of them, I logged in remotely to their pc and clicked on the button myself! It's kind of like calling someone and they don't pick up the phone so you go to their house and do it for them then go back to yours and begin the call.While it is definitely not new, the quality and ease at which it is done is now pretty good. And dad, that's not how the mouse works...
