Saturday we got to watch our niece, Kate, compete in a Judo tournament. It was pretty interesting to see for the first time. Then that evening we had a surprise birthday party for Amy's Nana for her 85th. There were around 30 or so of her family there and I know she enjoyed it. Claire liked the cake.
Good news for those of you with gmail accounts, it's now been integrated with Google documents. 'So what' you say? Well, now if you get emailed an attachment that is a Word document (or equivalent such as OpenOffice) or an Excel spreadsheet, you can open it right there with a click on Google documents w/o having to save it and then find it and then open it, etc. Plus it can stay online and be available anywhere you are (or edited, saved, and returned to sender). Google Documents can basically take the place of your Word and Excel programs plus be able to save as those as well as html or pdf (and possibly a few more). Groundbreaking, not really. But it is a very nice convenience that raises the bar for other web based email programs.
