Crystal Trees
Although this camera phone pic doesn't do it justice I just had to take it. Some local people have probably seen the Spring Creek shopping area trees or even a couple huge oaks over on Western and 33rd, but this is a lot better even. In Amy's boss's neighborhood, Thornebrooke off 33rd and Bryant, there's a guy that spent over $20k on lighting and setup (supposedly a small army of 10 for 4-5 days). Each tree has lights wrapped around each limb, every limb, all the way out to the very tips. Plus there is music playing and other lighting effects. Quite extravagant and very beautiful. Worth a stop if you are out looking at lights.
