My dad made the paper again, this time it wasn't for the speeding tickets or the loud public disturbance over the price of melons at the farmers market (just kidding--about the tickets). He's in the paper again for his ministry work at a local correctional center and there is a good write-up here.As I ponder the upcoming son in my life and the bundle I currently have, I am continually amazed when I think back at the fatherly examples he has given me over the years and continues to give me. I know I am blessed, as there are so many out there without a fatherly figure to look up to. And with that, I guess the best thing I can say about it is thanks, Dad.
