Out in the Cold
Last night Amy and I had a night out w/o the kids and went to the Coldplay concert. Armed with a monocular for our nosebleed seats in the Ford center we got to see one of our favorite bands albeit from afar or in slightly magnified version. Opening act was Fiona Apple and she has some good songs but dances like a spaz. Think Elaine from Seinfeld mixed with one of Claire's tantrums.Coldplay was excellent as expected. They have so many good songs
and played them all right after each other with a great light show and crowd interaction. One that got the crowd really going was they did a cover of Johnny
Cash's, "Ring of Fire" which was great. Now being in the mindset of parents, I was wondering how much he gets to see his kids and wife (Gwyneth Paltro) while on tour. We really enjoyed it and are thankful to Amy's sister for watching the kids so late into the evening.
