Like many kids, Claire loves to watch the Baby Einstein videos. While on the way home Sunday after getting groceries we let her watch one (usually we don't show videos in the car unless we're on a trip) and it was the language nursery or something. Basically this one counts to 10 in numerous languages and she really likes it. So once we got home and lunch eaten and groceries put away we decided on a family nap on her queen bed. Lying there trying to get her to go to sleep, she was talking away her normal jibberish and then she started repeating what sounded like the Scandinavian counting to 10, as she would hear it and be able to pronounce it. Amy and I just said to each other "was she just counting to 10"?!!! After congratulating her she started clapping and smiling so we new that was what she was trying to do. She did it again a few times more and then again in the car on the way to church. Next I'm going to see if we can find some Baby Surgeon or Baby Quantum Physics videos.
