Just Cool
While they've had toys that can "walk" none have done so like a human until now that I know of (not counting Honda's robot, ASIMO). Even though it's remote controlled and not doing it by itself that's not too far a stretch. This is pretty cool and the engineer in me wonders at all the formulas, sensors, and corrective programs that go in to keeping it upright. But it's also neat that it can stand up again on it's own. Rosie Jetson may not be far off (but she had wheels).
